    Very impressive looking, but... I would think, for something that they certainly hope some people will race, it seems something as critical and as fragile as the radiator, would be a bit more protected than to be put in such a vulnerable location. Or is it just a no go show boat now?

    I always thought that making cut away models would be a lot of fun. Could probably make a go of it as a business if you were good at it.

    I would have trouble cutting up a car like that!! I have to imaging that "cutaway" is assembled from parts, perhaps early pieces that failed inspection, but still looked pretty.

    But, yes, it is fun to cut things up. When I was in college I worked at an auto salvage yard. Learned A LOT about how things are put together there. They would sell the front or back half of a car. Typically the customer would come in and mark where they wanted it cut. Then we fire up the rescue saw and make the sparks fly.
