    Thumbs up 2-cents of info

The only reason why I joined here was the DIY for homestead and DIY tractor stuff. Mostly all of the other things don't apply.

Well, I see a 3-prong hay spear that folds the spears on the 3-pt hitch tool that then allows a towing trailer ball to be used. Thus, it's a multipurpose tool. Why this isn't here in the USA is beyond me. I would gladly own 1 tool vs 2 due to cost and storage.

I took my 3-pt box-blade and made wooden pallet forks to move cattle/horse coral fencing. It works like a charm. I can stack 12 panels on a small tractor like the one shown in the un-roller fencing project. I need to get photos though.

Since tractors are over 100 years old, most of the improvements have been made by implement companies. The DIYer neat ideas are far and few. I've even adapted some of the ATV ideas for my tractor. Farm and Homestead along with the Of-the-Grid'ers are by far the biggest group of people rising up now in the US due to this economy and mess the nation is in. A DIY site is ideal vs. the "prepper" sites.

Great point on differentiating between the DIY vs. prepper sites and, presumably, mindsets.

We'll look forward to seeing photos of your hay spear and other homemade tools. Those will undoubtedly help some folks with similar needs.
