The little one crashes all the time. He's written off multi-million dollar supercars and was in a coma for a few weeks when he crashed a jet powered drag car. So yes.

Lot's of ways to get degrees. some completely bogus, some honorarily, some by filling in the answers to questions on a few abbreviated tests online, some with remote studies in the form of correspondent courses with the tests mailed to you by snail mail, some a mix of the last 2 I mentioned. then there are the ones where you sit through endless hours bored out of your mind listening to a professor drone on in monotone when you know very well most of his diatribe could be condensed into a couple minutes and still make his point, add in the classroom study. lab, time 200 lbs. of textbooks and years taken out of your life. Lastly there is the ones that are awarded posthumously You will never know if you received one of them.
One of my young engineers came to me one day and said Sir I just completed and received my Master's in mechanical engineering. I think I'm ready for my own office.
Let me see what is on the back of your degree. um maybe you should let this one age a few years or include a transcript with it. He walked away more than a little embarrassed.

Two of my favorite doctoral dramas:

    1. The Bogdanov Affair: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bogdanov_affair

    2. An American cultural icon who plagiarized his doctoral dissertation at Boston University, from another student who had graduated three years earlier. He had also committed plagiarism various other times in his academic writings and his speeches. When the plagiarism was discovered, Boston University refused to revoke his doctorate.

His name? Martin Luther King, Jr: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Martin...horship_issues

OOPs, I think of another alleged documented and ignored example of plagiarism this time for a law degree, supposedly he fooled 80 million people.
