I am skeptical of the real-world utility of some of those features, but intrigued by others. It presents a stark contrast with modern day design strategy of home appliances.
More broadly, it's a great example of nostalgia for peak American manufacturing culture.

Slide-out shelves - why are they not standard now?
Though it should be a full-extension slide.
I like the veggie thing - it keeps things visible (not buried in a drawer where one eventually finds a mud-filled sack that was once a cucumber.
The ice 'stripper' is a great idea - though would be a nuisance on my fridge which is freezer-under (where a freezer belongs, by the way!)
