Did that monstrosity have doors? I can't see any parting lines separating a door from the surrounding body work.
Who needs a door in an open-topped car that short? Told my wife and kids I wanted one just like that for Father's Day. Youngest asked why? It's even longer than the Jaguar XK, and made in America!Quote:

In 1948 most ladies wore skirts. Persuading your SO to go for a ride might be difficult. Also, cars without doors generally had the sidewall next to the seats cut down to make getting your leg over easier. It's a triumph of appearance over utility.Quote:
