    OK, so to dump, it drops some part of the load on itself - on the slanted roof but also on the cables.

    In shocked - shocked I say - that this is not how all loaders work today...

    I'm guessing the overshot loader is NOT to be used for manure piles.

    Same thing happens with a skid loader. Pick up a full bucket. Lift it high and fail to level the bucket. The extra ends up in your lap. Hopefully you are loading wood chips, not #2 stone or worse.
