    That was a helpful video. I love my 18" steel rule (it has 100's scale) and also my 12" one and 6" one. I typically use a calipers for inside/outside measurements.
    There was some helpful tips on using the combination square as well.
    Simple tool, but quite powerful when used correctly.
    The vintage video and audio is fun to watch and listen to.
