HistoricPittsburgh.org has a nice Mesta Machine Company Photographs set. Many of them are not large enough for our High-quality black-and-white photographs of large old machines and tools thread, but it is still a very nice archive.

Nice link to the Mesta Photo set Jon. Appears someone has cleaned a few of them up. They also have an interesting link zoom feature on some of the pics...never seen that feature before. Java?

The glass blowing engine is pretty coool.

I'm not yet sure how to extract the fullsize images from their zoom feature. They have plenty of copyright-expired images, but they're concealing the fullsize ones behind their zoom utility. My preference is to click once for the fullsize to load on its own in a browser window, and then move around the browser window on my own.

I can't see anything in the source code, or when I run the page through webpagetest.org. Need to play around with it a bit more.

I will be saving this link to look in more detail, Awesome scale of machinery, it make my time at Vickers seem like I was in a model engineers workshop.
