Thank you for your graciousness, but I most likely just made an error! I saw this one bouncing around on social media as a belt-driven tool intended to be run by a centralized steam-driven source of power. I'm still not sure exactly which of the various Rapidor models we're looking at.

Ah, the lathes.uk link does show sales literature for both belt and motor-driven models, although that looks remarkably like electrical conduit snaking over the back of the machine. Could easily have been belt-driven converted to electric at some point during it's long life. It's an interesting design.

Thank you, but it's still important to point out that I find this stuff on social media, and do a little research to verify it, but either myself or any of the chain of people who posted it originally or re-posted it can and do make a variety of errors.
