Once in while I am able to do some continuing work on my fold break.
Today it was time to locate the holes in the top clamp side plates
I have installed hardened sleeves in the leaf springs which will be the rear pivot for the top clamp. also a half moon cup that the spring eye nests in is already welded in place making it imperative that the holes in the side plates for the pivot shaft must be concentric with the cup.
So I made this drill guide/ transfer punch adapter out of 1 " cold roll by drilling a 5/32" hole through it
By clamping 1 side plate in place I can use my hand drill to mark or drill a pilot hole
