From over in resin casting land I've learned that warming the epoxy increases its "flowability" and might help with air bubbles, but a vacuum or pressure chamber would probably be better if you can find one large enough to accommodate the volume. Interesting study of epoxy concrete. If I understand the original problem, then I challenge the assumption that making the column more rigid will reduce head deflection. Here is my experience- https://rick.sparber.org/WGI.pdf
