    I wouldn't want to be on either end of that sling! This seems extremely expensive and dangerous. I've seen large helicopters skidding logs in really rough terrain, but not hauling the tops out of trees one at a time. Surely that can't be standard practice.

    For topical application, only. Not to be taken internally or used in com-
    bination with other drugs or alcohol, except as directed by your shaman.
    Do not operate heavy equipment, unless you actually know how to.

    That was pricey! Helicopters are expensive to operate due to very high maintenance and fuel costs. I speculate there may have been another reason to do this lift, such as a schoolhouse being directly below it, or something like that. They use retired CH-47 "Chinooks" to carry logs out of Private/National Forests, which is cheaper than building roads to get trucks to the harvesting site.
